We help Indian students answer one hard question honestly: given your rank, your budget and your goals, what should you actually study — and where, in India or abroad?
This started with my brother, and his daughter. My niece.
When she finished school, I watched him try to make one of the biggest decisions of her life with almost nothing solid to go on. Every "guide" online turned out to be a sales funnel. The counsellors all had an angle. The things that actually mattered, what a seat really costs, what it pays back, whether to stay in India or go abroad, were scattered across a dozen tabs, buried under ads, or just missing. He is a smart, careful man, and he was lost. I figured if he was struggling, lakhs of other parents were too.
So I built the thing I wish he had had. It starts from the career you want and works back to the real path there, in India and abroad, with the payback math shown up front. And it makes no money from sending you anywhere: no commissions, nobody buying your phone number. Just the honest answer, even when that answer is "stay in India."
That is the whole reason it exists. If it saves one family from deciding out of fear or a sales pitch, it has done its job.

Most study-abroad sites are lead-generation funnels dressed up as advice. We built the opposite: a career-first tool that starts from the job you want and works backward to the courses, universities and entrance exams that get you there — with the payback math shown up front. Our JoSAA seat predictor, India-vs-abroad payback calculators, 80+ university profiles and 22 career deep-dives are all free and require no signup.
Every guide and data table is researched against primary, official sources and dated so you know how fresh it is. Numbers that drive a major decision are cited inline. When official data updates (exam cutoffs, visa rules, ranking releases), we revise the affected pages and update their "last updated" date. We'd rather say "we don't know yet" than publish a confident guess.
Spotted an error, want a guide on something, or have a question about a number we published? We read everything. Email us directly at contact@jobstoedu.com.
